Me and This site

I've been the typical internet lurker since the dawn of the early 2000s. My main uses for the web were downloading music and Gameboy Advance roms, playing mmos and watching youtube at first.

Eventually I did stumble upon DeviantArt in 2010 and started posting art online; unfortunately anyone who's aware of the current state of that site knows that's not worth doing these days.

I've sort of hopped around various social media over the years, but nothing has really worked for me. Thus after not putting my art anywhere for a long time, I ended up thinking I wanted my own personal space to express myself. This is the end result of that~

This site does have a mascot kinda, it's a pink slime with ears named Poppi.

My Art

I currently work in Krita, using a very old tablet pc and samsung tablet. Both Linux and Android are my OS.
For my brushes I use the default pencil and chalk brushes, and I like to use an 8bitdo micro controller for shortcuts.

In the past I did use a cracked version of Paint Tool Sai and a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I kinda want to try out Sai 2, but I don't feel like setting it up for linux.

My art style is very inconsistent due to a mix between dissatisfaction, experimentation, and very long periods of art block/burn out. Please be nice about it. I'm always trying to improve despite this, to the point of wasting time collecting resources... ^^' I can say I'm pretty happy about the amount of art books I've accumulated though.

What the heck is up with my sona?

To be honest I'm not quite sure myself? Originally when I first made it as a kid, it was based off a mix of a cat and a rabbit, then it got some goat elements and finally a more demon like appearance. I thought to scrap the design a few times and make a more 'standard' human/furry sona, but I can't seem to click with anything else. So we have this creature, and I vibe with being a creature. :3
